Among the other writers were Agnes Strickland, I. F. (John Forster), Leitch Ritchie, M. B. Honan, T. C. Grattan, Richard Johns, Allan Cunningham, W. H. Maxwell, Hon. J. E. Murray, Hon. R. D. Murray, H. W. Challis, W. H. Ainsworth, Horace Smith, and Thomas Moore (an early unpublished Romance).
